I could not have picked a better rental for our group of 4. The location of the cabin was not difficult to find. The setting was surreal. There is something to look at out every window, and the loft is a great excuse to spend a morning reading a book or to gaze down at the mesmerizing river. I really liked the large bathroom with the jetted tub and the side deck off the house. The house is pretty well stocked with the essentials, just bring your favorite board game and you are all set! Would love to come back.

 

Our stay was a wonderful experience I am still thinking about it. There was two adults and four children. The stay was very relaxing everything you would need to be comfortable was there. The jetted tub was a plus. I am looking forward to going back with my husband for a romantic get away.There are trails real easy to walk,Granite Falls is a small quiet town. You will enjoy your stay!

 

Had a great time. Quiet, peaceful, cute cabin in a nice setting. Didn't speak to a soul for a week :) Highly recommended.

 

We needed a break from everyday life so my boyfriend and I, along with my daughter contacted Marilyn regarding this property. She was in the middle of having the decks around the property rebuilt but was willing to let us stay anyways! It was so relaxing hearing the river and having no access to the Internet or Phone! The place was private and clean and very homey! My daughter really enjoyed the reading nook and spent most of her time there (I loved the wood burning fireplace). We did hike the Big Four Ice Caves which was under an hour away, when we went the road was closed so we parked and hiked there (8miles round trip) through about 4 feet of snow at some points. When we returned the heated floors in the bathroom were perfect for our freezing feet! I would highly recommend staying here and Marilyn is a great host with a beautiful cabin!
